Welcome to the Somerset Sharks! The Sharks have been swimming in the Cobb County Summer Swim League for many, many years. This team offers the opportunity for young residents and neighbors to improve their swimming skills and compete in meets. It also provides the opportunity for parents of swimmers to volunteer for the team, get to know your neighbors, and cheer on the Sharks! Summer swim league is meant to be a fun, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the sport. Please keep this in mind as the season begins, and throughout the summer.

The Patti Wilder Meet is the annual Cobb County Summer Swim championship meet where summer league swimmers from all over Cobb county race together. We highly encourage ALL swimmers from our team to enter this meet! Windsor Oaks swimmers who register will be put in heats with swimmers with similar times.. so no one should be intimidated!! Our coaches emphasize fun, team spirit, good attitudes, and personal best times over winning a race. It is a great way to see what year-round swim meets are like, too!

The only qualification is that the swimmer must be able to swim 1 lap freestyle (25 yards) in under 70 seconds independently (no hanging on the lane rope, no adult assistance with getting in the water at the start). Otherwise there are no qualifying times for this meet.
