This is a reminder that you must RSVP by midnight tonight. Even if you plan on not attending the meet please go in and mark the Not Attending This Meet selection. You can RSVP or mark not attending via the website (link) or SwimTopia app (link). If you do not register your child, they will not be able to participate in the meet. Junior Sharks will not be swimming at this meet.

Pool Description:

The away meet is located at North Forest. The pool is a 4 lane pool.

Pool Address:

The North Forest pool is located at:2440 North Forest Dr NE, Marietta, GA 30062

Parking:

Please park on only one side of the street so that traffic can get through. Please do not park in people's yards or block driveways. Please bring your own folding chairs since space is limited.

Check In:

Please report to the pool for volunteer and athlete check in by 5:15 pm.

Warm-ups:

We do not have conformation yet from the other team’s coordinator, but in the past we warm-up at 5:30. The meet will begin at 6:00. I will be sending out an email with confirmation details on Thursday the day of the meet as well as sending out a reminder through Remind and Facebook. If you miss the warm-up time you will not be able to warm-up.

Concessions:

North Forest has a full concession with pizza, BBQ, drinks, baked goods, and lots of candy!

Volunteers:

We still have a lot of open jobs for volunteers for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers. We have the following openings available:

*2 people for Bullpen 6 & under – 1^st shift

*2 people for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 1^st shift

*1 person for Floater – 1^st shift

*1 person for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 2^nd shift

*1 person for Floater – 2^nd shift

*1 person for Lane Judge – 2^nd shift

*1 person for Lane Manager – 2^nd shift

*1 person for runner – 2^nd shift

Chattahoochee Gold Swim Clinic:

I am thrilled to announce we have a local year-round swim team, the Chattahoochee Gold (link to their website), coming to host a stroke clinic on Friday, May 31^st.The clinic will be held from 9:45-10:30 am during the 9 through 12 year old times. If your child is younger or older, they are more than welcome to attend the clinic as well. If you are not able to attend this clinic, we have another one scheduled for June 18^th with a different swim team.
