    RSVP Tonight by Midnight for Away Meet for Chadds Walk

    June 3rd

    Hello Parents,

    This is a reminder that you must RSVP by midnight tonight. Even if you plan on not attending the meet please go in and mark the Not Attending This Meet selection. You can RSVP or mark not attending via the website (link) or SwimTopia app (link). If you do not register your child, they will not be able to participate in the meet. Junior Sharks will not be swimming at this meet.

    Away Meet at Chadds Walk TW:

    Chadds Walk will be dressing up in a luau theme for the meet.If you want to participate feel free to!

    Pool Description:

    The away meet is located at Chadds Walk TW.The pool is a 4 lane pool with diving blocks on the deep end.

    Pool Address:

    The North Forest pool is located at:2146 Spindrift Court Marietta, GA. DO NOT PUT CHADDS WALK POOL IN GOOGLE MAPS! This will bring you to a different pool!

    Parking:

    Please park on only one side of the street so that traffic can get through. Please do not park in people's yards or block driveways. Please bring your own folding chairs since space is limited.

    Check In:

    Athletes can begin checking in at 5:00 pm. Volunteers and athletes please be checked in by 5:15 pm.

    Warm-ups:

    We will warm-up at 5:30 pm. The meet will begin at 6:00. If you miss the warm-up time you will not be able to warm-up.

    Concessions:

    Chadds Walk’s concessions will have pizza, Chick fil A sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, fruit, candy, chips, desserts and drinks. They accept cash and Venmo only.

    Volunteers:

    We still have a lot of open jobs for volunteers for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers. We have the following openings available:

    *1 people for Bullpen 6 & under – 1st shift

    *1 person for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 1st shift

    *1 person for Floater – 1st shift

    *1 person Timer – 1st shift

    *2 people for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 2nd shift

    *1 person for Floater – 2nd shift

    *1 person for Lane Judge – 2nd shift

    Swim Team Picture Day:

    Georgia Games:

    The Georgia State Games is this Saturday, June 8th. You do not have to compete at this meet but if you are wanting extra time in the pool, you can still register. Here is the link to register: https://event.racereach.com/gg_swimming_youth_meet You cannot register for Georgia Games via SwimTopia.
