    Away Meet at Hampton Woods on June 26th

    Hey Shark Families!

    Thank you all so much for your help with last night’s home meet. We had a great night!We finished the meet with a winning final score of 475!

    We are looking forward to our final Away Meet against Hampton Woods on Wednesday, June 16th.

    Here is what to look for in this email:

    Away Meet at Hampton Woods:

    Our last Away Meet is this Wednesday, June 26th. This week’s meet is the PINK OUT meet. We would love to have your support for all the families that have been affected by breast cancer. Please wear pink at the meet!You can wear pink suits and even caps.

    Please RSVP attending or not attending by midnight Monday, June 24th. You can do this by going to the website: https://somersetsharks.swimtopia.com/ We will still need volunteers at away meets so please sign up!

    If you do not want to stay for those late relays you can make a note in SwimTopia that you are leaving early, not available for late relays.

    Junior Sharks:

    Unfortunately, the Junior Sharks cannot swim at this away meet. However, during the morning practice on June 26th we will have a race for them.

    Volunteers Needed:

    We still have a lot of open jobs for volunteers for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season and this is your last opportunity to get those volunteer credits. We still have a few people that have not met their volunteer requirements. We will be spending emails to you later this week if you haven’t made the requirements. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers so we need everyone’s help.We have the following openings available:

    *1 Person for Bullpen 6 & under – 1st shift

    *1 People for Lane Manager – 1st shift

    *1 Person for Timer – 1st shift

    *2 People for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 2nd shift

    *1 Person for Floater – 2nd shift

    *1 Person for Lane Manager – 2nd shift

    *1 Person for Runner – 2nd shift

    *1 Person for Timer – 2nd shift

    End of Season Party:

    Our end of the season party will be held June 27th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Come hang out at the pool for a party.We will be selling pizza, chips, drinks and candy with the following prices:

    *2 slices of pieces, a bag of chips and a drink - $5

    *Individual slices of pizza - $1 a slice

    *Candy - $1

    These items can be purchased with cash or Venmo.

    We will also be handing out medals and serving cake and ice cream.

    End of the Season Party Timeline:

    5:00 pm – Party Begins

    6:00 pm – Awards

    6:30 pm – Dessert – We will be calling by age group starting with the Junior Sharks.
