We have an away meet this Wednesday, June 26, 2024 against Hampton Woods.This is a reminder that you must RSVP by midnight tonight. Even if you plan on not attending the meet please go in and mark the Not Attending This Meet selection. You can RSVP or mark not attending via the website (link) or SwimTopia app (link). If you do not register your child, they will not be able to participate in the meet. Junior Sharks will not be swimming at this meet.

Pool Description:

The away meet is located at Hampton Woods.This meet is the PINK OUT MEET so wear pink! The pool is a 6 lane pool with no diving blocks. All entries to the pool will be via sit dive.

The Hampton Woods pool is located at:892 Chestnut Lake Drive Northeast Marietta, GA 30068

Parking:

Please park on only one side of the street so that traffic can get through. Please do not park in people's yards or block driveways. Please bring your own folding chairs since space is limited.

Check In:

Athletes can start checking in at 5:00 pm.All volunteers and athletes must be checked in by 5:15 pm.

Warm-ups:

We will warm-up at 5:30. The meet will begin at 6:00. If you miss the warm-up time you will not be able to warm-up.

Concessions:

Hampton Woods has a full concession with pizza, Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets, chips, candy and drinks. They accept cash or Venmo.

Volunteers:

We still have a few open jobs for volunteers for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Since the pool is 6 lanes, we will need a few other jobs this time. We have the following openings available:

*1 Person Lane Manager – 1^st Shift

*1 Person Timer – 1^st Shift

*1 Person for Bullpen 7 & 8 – 2^nd shift

*1 Person for Lane Manager – 2^nd shift

*2 People for Timer – 2^nd shift

Pool Party:

Our end of the season party will be held June 27^th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the pool. We will be selling pizza, chips, drinks and candy for cash or Venmo as well as have ice cream, cake and medals.
