Hey Sharks,

We are making plans for the coming summer league swim season. We cannot wait to see you and start swimming.

Registration

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, March 23 from 2-4PM at the Somerset Pool for registration day! I will be there to answer any questions you may have. All swimmers ages 3 to 18 living in or outside Somerset can join the team for a season of fun! We welcome all abilities and experience. If you cannot make it to registration day, don’t worry! We will have online registration available starting March 24^th as well. You can find the registration link on our website. Please invite your friends!

This year we will be using any competitive swimming navy suit and jammers or the Shark suit or Shark jammers.This navy swim suit would be perfect or these jammers. The Shark Suit is currently on sale at Swim Outlet.You can purchase the suit here or the jammers here.I plan to start a swimsuit swap thread on our Facebook Page so if you have old suits you would like to swap get ready to post those there.Your child will also need goggles and preferably a swim cap.

Somerset Swim/Tennis Membership

Membership is not required to be a part of the swim team, but it does offer a discount and access to the pool outside of swim team hours. Remember that you can sign up for the pool membership online before you come to swim team registration. This will speed the process up and you will know that it is already taken care of and off your checklist!

Meet Schedule

The swim season runs from mid-May through the end of June. Practices will start Monday, May 12th after school. Once school is out, practice starts in the morning. Our practice schedule can be found on here but it can fluctuate from year to year. All meets except the practice meet and first regular meet of the season will be on Mondays. I have attached the schedule to this message.
