    Home Meet Against North Forest Details and RSVP Date

    Hello Parents,

    This is a reminder that you must RSVP by Thursday, June 12th for our home meet against North Forest on June 16th. Even if you plan on not attending the meet please go in and mark the Not Attending This Meet selection. You can RSVP or mark not attending via the website (link) or SwimTopia app (link). If you do not register your child, they will not be able to participate in the meet.

    Junior Sharks will be swimming at this meet but do not need to RSVP.

    Home Meet Against North Forest:

    Next week we have a home meet on Monday, June 16th against North Forest. Our theme for the meet is Hawaiian night!

    Parking:

    The parking lot in front of the pool will be closed. Please park along the road and follow the signs indicating where to park. The tennis courts and the spillway are off limits. Please let your children know and watch the for their safety.

    Check In:

    Athletes can begin checking in at 4:30 pm. Athletes please be checked in by 4:45 pm. If you are helping with meet set up, please arrive at 4:00 pm. All other volunteers please check in by 5:00 pm

    Warm Ups:

    4:45 – 5:00 – 5-10s in the water for warm up

    5:00-5:15 – 11 and up in water for warm up

    5:15-5:45 – Away Team will warm up

    5:45 – Junior Shark Event

    6:00 - Swim Meet Begins

    Concessions:

    We have an awesome concession stand. We have fresh salad, grilled chicken skewers, BBQ topping scoop, baked potatoes, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, chips, candy, sweets, and drinks. Our concession takes cash or Venmo.

    Volunteers:

    We still have open jobs for volunteers for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers. We need more volunteers at home meets, so we need your help! We have the following openings available:

    *1 Person – Meet Set Up

    *2 People – Concessions – help serve and sell concessions during meet - 1st Shift

    *4 People for Concessions – help serve and sell concessions during meet – 2nd shift

    *2 People Concessions Clean Up – end of meet

    There are a few families that still need to hit their volunteer requirements and there are only two meets left to do it!

    Patti Wilder:

    RSVPs for Patti Wilder are due on Wednesday, June 11th. Because you pay for your individual events, I will need a check or Venmo Payments by June 13th. You can Venmo me @Alicia-Luechtefeld (last 4 digits – 2138)

    Dad Relay Team:

    Calling all dads! To celebrate Father’s Day, we would like to put together a dad’s relay team for our home meet on June 16th. The team would swim at the break. If interested, reach out to Sue Culberson.

    Chattahoochee Gold Swim Clinic:

    Chattahoochee Gold will be at the pool on Friday, June 13th from 10-11. This is recommended for children 7 and up.
