Hello Sharks Families,

I was notified on Friday that some families were not receiving text message notifications from Remind. After doing some research, it appears that text notifications are unavailable unless the account is linked to a school.

I explored a few other options, but Remind still seems to be the best choice for sending quick team updates and announcements.

To make sure you receive notifications moving forward, please complete the following steps:

1. Sign up for Remind by texting @936c678 to 81010
2. Download the Remind app
3. Open the app and go to Account Settings (gear icon in the top right corner)
4. Click Notifications
5. Turn ON:
   • Push Notifications
   • Text Messages
   • Voice Calls

Once these settings are enabled, you should receive app notifications whenever team messages are sent out.

I apologize for the confusion on Friday and appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the notification settings.
