Shark Parents,

Today is the first meet of the season! We are missing a lot of volunteer spots. See the list below. If these spots are not filled, we cannot have a meet.

Check In Information:

The practice meet will begin at 6:00 pm. Athletes can arrive at 4:45 to begin checking in. Warm-ups will begin at 5:10.

Swimmers need to come in their swimsuits and goggles. Goggles are required. Remember, you CANNOT wear any suit or cap with another team name or logo.

Please bring a sharpie to write your lane and heats! Not sure how you should do this? Check the attached photo.

When you arrive, please see the coaches so they can hand out an event slip. This will give you the assignments to write with the sharpie. You can also use the SwimTopia app ahead of time to see your child’s events and even track their times throughout the season. Junior Sharks:

Junior Sharks get to swim at this meet and their race begins at 5:45 pm. The junior sharks can arrive around 5:40 and head to the end of the pool near the blocks when the announcer calls for them.

Parking:

The parking lot in front of the pool will be closed. Please park along the road and follow the signs indicating where to park. The tennis courts and the spillway are off limits. Please let your children know and watch the for their safety.

Concessions:

Concessions will be open tonight and it's a great place to eat dinner! The concession uses cash or Venmo. We have a variety of items including chicken skewers, cheeseburgers, pizza, BBQ, salads, chips, drinks and many more items.

Volunteering:

If you are volunteering for the meet, please check in with Brandy Pavelka at 5:00 pm at a table near the front doors of the pool deck. If you signed up for set up, please arrive at 4 pm and check in with Kate Rose Hodges.

We are still missing critical volunteer spots. The following spots must be filled:

1 Person – Lane Judge – Second Shift

1 Person – Lane Manager – Second Shift

2 People – Timer – Second Shift

2 People – Meet Clean Up Concessions

Pink Out:

Our last meet of the season is a pink out where we have a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. The deadline for ordering caps is tomorrow, May 22^nd. The deadline for shirts is June 1^st. As a reminder, you need to RSVP for the Away Meet on Wednesday, May 27^th by Midnight on Friday May 22nd.
