Thank you all so much for your help with tonight’s away meet. We had a great night! We finished the meet with a tie and a score of 317.

We are looking forward to our home meet on Tuesday, June 16^th against Chestnut Springs.

Home Meet Against Chestnut Springs:

Our next home meet is Tuesday, June 16th.

Please RSVP attending or not attending by noon Friday June 12th. You can do this by going to the website: https://somersetsharks.swimtopia.com/ We will still need volunteers at away meets so please sign up!

If you do not want to stay for those late relays you can make a note in SwimTopia that you are leaving early, not available for late relays.

I will be sending more information regarding check in times and other information in a later email.

Junior Sharks:

The Junior Sharks will be able to swim at this race. Their race will begin at 5:45 pm. You do not need to RSVP.

Since you were unable to swim at tonight’s away meet, we will be having a race tomorrow at the end of practice.

Volunteers Needed:

We still have some volunteer openings for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers so we need everyone’s help. We have two home meets left which require a lot of volunteers. We have the following openings available:

*2 People - Bullpen 6 & under – 1^st shift

*1 Person – Bullpen 7 & 8 – 1^st Shift

*1 Person – Grill Runner

*3 People – Concessions – 2^nd Shift

*1 Person – Lane Manager – 1^st Shift

*1 Person – Lane Manager – 2^nd Shift

*2 People – Meet Clean Up

*1 Person -Concessions Clean Up

Swim Atlanta Clinic:

Swim Atlanta will be at the pool on Thursday, June 11^th. The clinic is for swimmers 7 and up and is from 8:30-10:30 am. 5 & 6 swimmers will swim at 8:15 on this day.

Patti Wilder:

The Patti Wilder County Meet is on June 26, 27, & 28.

The meet days are scheduled as follows:

Friday, June 26^th session is for our 13 and up swimmers.

Saturday, June 27^th session is for our 9–12-year-old swimmers.

Sunday, June 28^th session is for our 5–8-year-old swimmers.

Each swimmer can enter three individual events of their choice at $7 per event. The individual events are paid by the swimmer. If we have enough swimmers going, we will put together relay teams. Somerset will pay the entry fee for the relays.

Please RSVP on the Somerset Sharks website and select your events by Thursday, June 11^th. You can also message me and let me know which events your swimmer wants to swim.

Because you pay for your individual events, I will need a check or Venmo Payments by June 12^th. You can Venmo me at @Alicia-Luechtefeld (last 4 digits - 2138).
