    Hey Shark Families!

    We are looking forward to our home meet on Tuesday, June 16th against Chestnut Springs.

    Here is what to look for in this email:

    Home Meet Against Chestnut Springs:

    Our next home meet is Tuesday, June 16th.

    Please RSVP attending or not attending by noon Friday, June 12th. You can do this by going to the website: https://somersetsharks.swimtopia.com/ We will still need volunteers at away meets so please sign up!

    If you do not want to stay for those late relays you can make a note in SwimTopia that you are leaving early, not available for late relays.

    I will be sending more information regarding check in times and other information in a later email.

    Junior Sharks:

    The Junior Sharks will be able to swim at this race. Their race will begin at 5:45 pm. You do not need to RSVP.

    Volunteers Needed:

    We still have some volunteer openings for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers so we need everyone’s help. We have the following openings available:

    *1 Person - Bullpen 6 & under – 1st shift

    *1 Person – Bullpen 7&8 – 1st Shift

    *1 Person – Bullpen 7 & 8 – 2nd Shift

    *1 Person – Grill Runner

    *4 People – Concessions – 2nd Shift

    *1 Person – Lane Manager – 1st Shift

    *1 Person – Clean Up Trash During Meet

    *1 Person – Meet Clean Up Concessions

    *1 Person – Runner -2nd Shift

    We appreciate everyone that has stepped up and volunteer more than they are required. Also, there still several families that I have not met their minimum requirement. There are two meets left to do so. Given that this is a volunteer-based swim team any family that does not meet the minimum requirements or make other make arrangements with me, will not be invited to participate next year.

    Chattahoochee Gold Swim Clinic:

    Chattahoochee Gold, a year-round swim team, will be at the pool on June 17 at 9 am for a swim clinic. This clinic is available for our 7 and up swimmers.

    Junior Sharks and 5–6-year-old swimmers will swim at their normal time. The other swimmers will be swimming at the clinic time only.
