We are looking forward to our final home meet on Tuesday, June 23rd against North Forest. This is our last meet of the season, and the theme is pink out.

Home Meet Against North Forest:

Our last home meet is Tuesday, June 24^th.

Please RSVP attending or not attending by noon Friday June 19th. You can do this by going to the website: https://somersetsharks.swimtopia.com/ We will still need volunteers at away meets so please sign up!

If you do not want to stay for those late relays you can make a note in SwimTopia that you are leaving early, not available for late relays.

I will be sending more information regarding check in times and other information in a later email.

Junior Sharks:

The Junior Sharks will be able to swim at this race. Their race will begin at 5:45 pm. You do not need to RSVP.

Volunteers Needed:

I want to thank everyone who helped at our last meet, if you signed up for the second shift and did not get to fulfil your volunteer requirements, we would love for you to sign up for this meet.

We still have many volunteer openings for this meet. Remember, you must volunteer at least 2 times per swimmer for the season. Our swim team is 100% run by volunteers so we need everyone’s help. We have one home meets left which require a lot of volunteers. If you have not met your volunteer requirements and have not been in contact with me, you need to plan to complete your requirements at this meet.

We have the following openings available:

*1 Person - Bullpen 6 & under – 1^st shift

*1 Person – Bullpen 7&8 – 1^st Shift

*3 People – Concessions – 1^st Shift

*4 People – Concessions – 2^nd Shift

*1 Grill Assistant

*1 Person -Concessions Clean Up

*3 People – Meet Set Up

*1 Person – Timer – 1^st Shift

*1 Person – Lane Manager – 1^st Shift

Dad’s Relay:

Calling all dads! To celebrate Father’s Day, we would like to put together a dad’s relay team for our last home meet. The team would swim at the volunteer break. If interested, reach out to Sue Culberson.

Kraken Water Polo Clinic:

Kraken Water Polo will be hosting a clinic at our pool on June 24^th from 9 am to 10:30 am. This clinic is available for swimmers 9 & up. I hope swimmers will show up to learn about water polo.

I will also be there working on sorting ribbons and would love your help!

End of Season Party:

Our end of the season party will be held June 24^th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Come hang out at the pool for a party. We will be selling pizza, chips, drinks, and candy. I will be sending out prices for this in a later email.

These items can be purchased with cash or Venmo.

We will also be handing out medals and serving cake and ice cream.

End of the Season Party Timeline:

5:00 pm – Party Begins

6:00 pm Awards

6:30 pm – Dessert – We will be calling by age group starting with the Junior Sharks.

Coaches’ Gifts:

We have an amazing group of coaches! They have helped our kids so much this year. Please help us show our 2026 Sharks Coaches all our appreciation by donating to their end of season gift! We recommend each family donate at least $10 if possible. Venmo: @Susan-Culberson (photo of golden retriever) or bring cash/check to me or Sue by June 22nd.

This gift supplements our coaches hard work all season long. They’ve showed up every day in every way for our kids – please help us thank them. We’ve heard from the kids, our parents, OTHER TEAMS, officials and more that Somerset has an amazing crew of coaches.
